To Return to Yourself and Expand Your Awareness, I Invite You to Try the Practice “I Am I.”
Find a quiet place.
Sit comfortably or lie down.
Close your eyes.
Take a few soft, gentle breaths in and out.
You can play calm music.
And now, softly say aloud (or silently to yourself if speaking isn’t possible). Repeat each phrase as many times as you feel called to, but don’t rush — spend about 30–60 seconds on each:
1. I have emotions.
Anger, resentment, regrets, disappointments, joy, sadness, worries, fears…
But I am not only my emotions.
I am I.
(pause, breathe, feel emotions in your body)
2. I have thoughts.
Sometimes fast and chaotic, sometimes wise and clear…
But I am not only my thoughts.
I am I.
(pause, breathe, feel the lightness)
3. I have pain in my body.
Maybe illness, fatigue, tension… Or simply the body itself.
But I am not only the pain. I am not only my body.
I am I.
(pause, breathe, feel the space around the pain)
4. I have problems (issues that need to be solved).
Big or small, important or not so important…
But I am not only my problems and tasks.
I am I.
(pause, inhale — and exhale all the worries)
5. I have work, roles, responsibilities.
But I am not only these roles.
I am I.
(pause, feel the freedom beyond all roles)
Now, sit for another minute or more in silence.
Feel:
✨ Who are you — beyond thoughts, emotions, physical body, problems, and roles?
You can even ask yourself:
“Who am I?”
Write in the comments what answers come to you!
You — are YOU.
Space.
Living presence.
Love.
I feel and see Light...
